The Palms

This exciting refurbishment project breathes new life into a tired 80’s brick home in the Whitsundays. The existing home had good bones and high ceilings which we played upon. While the original layout was inefficient, through the rearrangement of the internal spaces and a very small extension, the home now enable the residents to gain an additional enclosed double garage plus a new kitchen, butler’s pantry, enhanced living spaces and an outdoor entertaining area flowing to the new pool in the backyard. The refurbishment draws heavily on mid-century design and has a playful colour palette of white mixed with green tones and natural timber. The works successfully transform the entire vibe of the home, turning it into a fun beach house to be enjoyed by the entire family.
