It’s hard to believe that this home was once a tired old weatherboard and asbestos shack that had remained untouched for many years. With a new carport and some external design treatments to the front of the home, plus the reinstatement of an existing front balcony, the home has been totally transformed into a modern and inspiring presentation to the street. At the rear of the property, a new extension contains an efficient and compactly designed kitchen, laundry/butler’s pantry and living space which all surround new pool and a private courtyard at the centre of the home. The extension has been purposefully built as a very basic structure which compliments the humbleness of the existing home, but also helps to deliver maximum impact for the client’s controlled budget.
